📍 1.7 miles from St Andrew's Stadium
Craft-beer spot on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter with Sky Sports and TNT Sports added, so you can catch live Premier League and other fixtures on their screens. It's a neutral city-centre location that fans (including away supporters) often use before heading to Villa Park or other grounds, and Wolves' own fan guide advises drinking in the city centre rather than around Villa Park. Rotating taps from notable UK craft breweries mean plenty of post-match choice, and weekend opening until midnight suits late kick-offs.
Very quiet why I was there. Place was clean tidy, and the service friendly. Surrounded by various beer icons, the whole idea of coming here was to try something new that we had not tried yet. And that was adequately met. Various seating are around to make you comfy how you want. If you want to sit outside in the roadside and watch the world go by you can. Overall nice.
A warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff were lovely and welcoming. A reservation is required although neither me or my parent could access their website as it was blocked by our phone provider, don’t know what is with that?? However, we did manage to get a table as a walk in. The Sunday roast hit the spot!!Although, the beef was a little chewy for me and the Yorkshire pudding was a little stale, like it had been sat under a heat lamp. Overall, would recommend and would go again :)
A lovely place in Jewellery Quarter/Snow Hill. It’s very popular on Tuesdays due to having 50% off big plates and sandwiches. Lots of craft beer choices, as well as your wines if you’re not into beer. It’s low light and intimate with great food options and plenty of board games to play with your group. I had a chicken quesadilla and a chorizo toastie - that consisted of chorizo, chilli double Gloucester and house cheese mix. Both were gorgeous. My boyfriend had - pastrami toastie and buffalo cauliflower which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our friends both had pies from the big plates which they enjoyed. We had fun playing the Simpsons Board Game but there’s plenty of choice if you’re into other games! I’d recommend to everyone! Gutted I couldn’t get a video to pop on TikTok, but I’ll be back as it’s a wonderful staple of Birmingham!
Came here for the Tuesday Treat day. Really cozy atmosphere. Very friendly bartender who reccomended really nice choices! Food was really tasty and nicely portioned. Two pub classics, a large sharer, a starter and two pints came to £47. Overall, a really nice venue with so much choice, good food and a nice atmosphere. Will 100% be returning!
My favourite place to drink and socialise in Birmingham. The beer selection is fantastic, the food is delicious and the service is always second to none. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing!
