Why oh why did I come here again 3rd time now I should have learnt from the past. Breakfast was even worse this time. Cheap disgusting sausages.. bacon thick and rubbery. eggs not runny at all just hard . Cold toast. Think it was a mushroom even though it was tasteless. Hash browns were OK . The only decent thing on my plate was the Lurpak🤓. Knives forks were dirty. No tea no hot chocolate just a cheap coffee machine which needed cleaning down. Miserable staff. 🥺😡 No service with a smile I would give a rating of 1 to food and service but doesn't allow.
Not my usual option BUT I had good pint and a nice curry so no conplaints! Bizzare mix of people in there! Very busy!
Best place for a drink with friends or while just waiting for your train. Gives you the perfect, crowed pub feeling you are imagining from an UK pub. And like usual, the drinks are all cheap.
My special needs brother was refused service of a pitcher. He showed his valid ID when asked and was refused service saying they don't accept his ID even though it's a legal form of ID. He has visited before and had an alcoholic drink many times and never had a problem. No problem with the food, just not happy with the service.
Whatever you go, Wetherspoon will be an option. We went to The Square of peg, and sorry I can’t give 5 stars because my fish not was how expected in the size. But the rest of the dishes was okay, and good portion for kids size. We had fish and chips, chips, kids sausages, American Burguer and melt chicken(is small portion) The location is perfect and inside is masive, clean, and with staff friendly. Is a place to go with kids, and also a good option for a cuppa tea or coffee, because they have the cheapest hot drinks. If you came to the heart of Birmingham, and you don’t have a lot of money, go to a Wetherspoon, special between 9-12 you can have amazing prices with you breakfast l.
