The Rutland Arms is a traditional pub with a good selection of beers and larger including five hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and welcoming there is a pool table and outside seating. The pub is featured in the campaign for Real Ales good Beer Guide and has won many awards. A visit is highly recommended.

Great pub ran by a lovely Landlady. Loads of beer options something for everyone. Great for watching live sporting events on the x2 flatscreens. Clean and tidy inside, follow their Facebook page to see all new weekly beers on the ales or any acts and events they have on. A lot of fun and the regulars very friendly easy to get on with. Best pub around I’m there every week and bring my friends and family or pop in for a pint after work on my own. Would recommend to anyone a totally different pub since Samantha took over a few years ago renovated etc.

One of the only genuine real ale pubs in Grimsby. Fantastic range of 5 real ales available. Old Mill bitter and the sublime Grimsby Mild are the main beers whilst there are a further 3 changing ales on all, nearly all locally brewed. In addition to the ales, there is a choice of a hand pulled cider as well. Well served by local buses, there is also carparking available to the rear of the pub.

My late dad liked this place for the real ales, my auntie came up a few weeks ago to mark what would have been his birthday, we called in the Rutland and had a triple xb shandy each and I bought us a rum and coke each

Great real ale oasis in a beer desert with a bus stop virtually outside. The work in progress exterior currently doesn't do the interior justice. An excellent choice of well kept ales, including a mild and all at sensible prices. Landlord very friendly and welcoming. Best bet in the Grimsby / Cleethorpes area.

Amazing small local family ran pub, new ownership from Sam the landlady from 2019 and the pub has had a full renovation inside. Very modern and a great atmosphere, everyone welcome home or away. Pool table/dartboard. Drinks very fairly priced and a great selection of cask ales supporting other local brewery’s. As well as the draft beers Carling, Fosters, Guiness, Madri, John Smiths, Strongbow Darkfruits/Original etc. Nothing is too much trouble and seen some great acts on Friday nights or karaoke is a laugh, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a new local to the area also very close to Blundell park 5 minute walk if visiting for the football! Car parking too give them a go at my local 🙂
