Why is House of Grain good for fans?

House of Grain is a popular venue among both home and away football fans visiting Shrewsbury. Located in the town centre on Wyle Cop, it's within walking distance of the New Meadow stadium, making it a convenient spot for pre- and post-match gatherings. The venue offers a diverse selection of craft ales, including local favourites like Salopian Oracle, and a menu with options catering to various dietary preferences, such as vegan dishes. The atmosphere is lively, with events like quiz nights and DJ sessions, and the establishment is dog-friendly, enhancing its appeal to a broad range of patrons. While there's no explicit mention of live football broadcasts, the vibrant setting and proximity to the stadium make it a popular choice for fans on matchdays.

Time to have a drink after a walk and our first stop is awesome because of serving great selection of ales and superb atmosphere. It was full packed so use outdoor seating which wasn't bad. Had great time and laugh there. Service was good.

Two real including Oracle - in good fettle - on offer. Lively rock music being played, not too oppressive. Plenty of seating in busy area near English bridgecand on St. Julian Friars. Handy for Masala Indian restaurant if you need to slake your thirst after a curry.

Great bar, great vibe, just disappointed in the fact they no longer sell beef jerky 😂 Price really depends on how much you like to drink

Excellent drinks, really tasty food, great service, and the perfect atmosphere. Have I mentioned the really delicious drinks? You really must try the Singapore Sling, wowza!

Spent a very pleasant afternoon here Saturday 5th October. The staff were great and the beer ( I opted for Salopian Oracle) was excellent and reasonably priced. Great selection of beers to choose from too but the Oracle was so good I stuck with Didn't try any food so can't comment on that. Definitely recommended if you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a nice relaxing pint.

Modern bar, with a large screen, a couple of ales available, good bench seating, with an upstairs seating area too.

Great selection of keg ales on tap and the food looked good. It’s a really nice place to drink with stripped back decor and booth seating. Would like to see a couple more cask ales and/or beers from local breweries.
