We stayed here for 2 nights, staff were accommodating and very friendly. Si made our stay the best we could’ve asked for. One of the best GM’s in brewery even though he hasn’t been there long! I would recommend, food tasted amazing aswell. Very easy to access the city from The Wellington!

Brilliant find in Bristol and will be back. Staff were really helpful and even carried my bag to room as had a bad leg. Food was the absolute clincher with generous and tasty mains and home made rhubarb and ginger cheesecake to die for. Perfect for hospital visiting with free on site parking and felt like a much needed home from home. Thank you for looking after me at a vulnerable time.

Stayed here whilst seeing relatives, excellent for Gloucester Road area. Room 3 was very clean, air con and very quiet. Cannot fault the room at all. The pub underneath is pretty large with comfortable seating. Decent selection of real ales and lager. Didn't have breakfast but I imagine it would have been decent. Has a few parking spaces available.

They’ve removed the kids play area, gutted. This has always been our main reason for coming and the reason we recommend staying there to friends and family who are visiting. Absolutely gutted. We’d often meet friends for lunch and drinks there too whilst the kids blow off some steam, such a crazy decision.

Every year, we have a family get together of 20-25 members from all over the country for the weekend. We had Sunday lunch at the Wellington. The location was perfect, the staff were great and very attentive, the food quantity was good but unfortunately the cauliflower sauce was strong with mustard and the meats were strong with pepper/spices. Given time we would visit again.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here today (February 23rd). They had a veggie option and a vegan one, with a big selection of vegetables, and crispy potatoes. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. Ella, who brought our bill, seemed genuinely pleased that we said we had a nice experience.

G is an absolute legend on the quiz on the mic. Every week is always great and the questions are genuinely challenging. Toby, Elin and Shannon were also super helpful and quick behind the bar. Come here every week to have a grand time! x

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Slightly slow serve, but they were very busy so this is to be expected. However when we asked to order dessert they came straight back.
