Stopped at the Bourne Arms on a visit to Knott End-on-sea. Excellent homemade food and a good range of drinks. Service by the team was excellent, they were all really friendly and helpful. All served on the "poop deck" with a fantastic view of the bay. We will definitely return. Thanks guys! 😁👍

I've eaten here a few times when visiting family. Food is always excellent and reasonably priced. Decent selection to drink at the bar. Staff are hard-working and pleasant. There is a general friendly atmosphere from the locals. The place is very dog friendly and it's location by the sea wall means you can stretch your legs after lunch.
If you're visiting the area of passing through, I would advise dropping in. Beware, every time I've visited, it's been busy so I would recommend booking.

Fantastic service could not fault! My youngest ordered tomato pasta off the kids menu, but when it came it was a cream and arrabiata sauce which was too spicy for her so they happily swapped her meal. Lovely gluten free meals with plenty of choice. We had battered halloumi and chicken goujons to start which was freshly battered chicken- yummy! Unfortunately they had no gluten free pasta available and the liver and onions was unavailable so it limited our options on the day we visited. Definitely worth a visit but I would call in advance if you require gluten free!

Thought the burger was undercooked and definitely under-seasoned, I wasn't asked how I would have liked it and didn't think about it until it was too late. The chips were ok but obviously of the frozen variety. I thought the drink (nonalcoholic) was very pricey. Nice atmosphere and comfortable table. I think I would give it a second chance if I was in the area again.
