We have just left the cricketers arms after choosing to visit whilst in town for a trip to paultons park, we felt compelled to write a review after receiving such great service and food. Our main server Ria and other waitresses (unfortunately we didn't get their names) were very friendly, kind and considerate. Ria was more than happy to explain the special offers in detail and she was extremely kind to our 4 year old daughter making her feel special when she placed her own order. Ria also made the effort to ensure her dinner came out first, which is service we have never had since having children. The food itself was unbelievable value and outstanding good, it was far better than what we've experienced from pub restaurants previously. Thank you to everyone at the cricketers arms for our lovely experience.

Went here for a work lunch and was really impressed. Despite being a large group with a pre-order, the service was excellent, attentive, efficient, and well-organised. Our food came out quickly, and the staff checked in on us throughout. The food itself was delicious and, considering the price, offered great value for money. Would definitely recommend for group bookings or casual work outings.

Lovely old pub with loads of space and garden, great place to hang out with a drink, but the food and service were seriously lacking which I can only put down to being part of a chain so noone really cares any more.

We booked Cricketers Arms after a day at a local theme park as it was on our way home. The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly and attentive. We were very quickly looked after and didn't want for anything. The food was also very good. I had the lamb shank which was really tasty and excellent value. My son loved his hunter's chicken and my husband said the burger was very tasty - one of the best he's had in a restaurant for a while. The puds were also very good and the team were very accommodating when we asked for a little pot of custard for our little one. The pub was spacious and has a nice space outside. We will definitely return when in the area.

Even though they were very busy, we felt like we were the only people in the pub having a Christmas meal. They were very attentive, asking all the time “ can we get you anything, and is everything to your satisfaction. The meal, was hot and delicious, the price was too cheap. They let us use our Christmas Crackers, they didn’t even moan regarding the mess the crackers made. We would go there again. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner

We popped in there last night at 10.30 after Mission Impossible at Vue, and the pub is great! I hadn't been there for nearly 40 years and it was much nicer than I remember. A really pleasant from seating area, lots of choices for vegans on the menu and reasonably priced too. We'll come back for food one day.

We really enjoyed our spur of the moment trip. Really friendly staff and a great choice on a very extensive menu. Food arrived well presented and lovely and hot. For a Monday it was busy in the pub which was good to see .

We took our child to the breakfast with the Easter bunny. It was really fun and interactive. The food was tasty and good value. We enjoyed the egg hunt and our child was so happy with the egg they received at the end. We would definitely do this again next year!
