The Leopard

out of 607 reviews

Why is The Leopard good for fans?

The Leopard is flagged in multiple away-fan guides as an away-friendly pub just a few minutes’ walk from Doncaster station (around 4 minutes), making it an easy pre-match meetup before heading to the Eco-Power Stadium. Inside, the pub shows live sport on big screens—explicitly carrying Sky Sports/TNT—so you can catch early kick-offs or post-match highlights. It also runs a kitchen with a quick, match-day-friendly offer (small plates and freshly baked pizzas), useful for lining up before the game. These factors—proximity to rail links, explicit welcome for away supporters, live football on TV, and hot food—make it a practical and proven hub for travelling fans in Doncaster.

Great small room upstairs that is great for that intimate gig. Not sure if there's a lift so anyone with mobility issues then be aware. No seating upstairs either. Card only bottle bar upstairs too. Didn't have any food therefore no rating for that. Would get a 5 out of 5 stars if there was some seating available for us that have mobility issues.

No trip to Doncaster is complete without visiting this traditional old pub. Vaults on the left, lounge on the right as you enter. 3 different cask ales on sale in each bar.

This pub has improved immeasurably since my last visit a few years ago. Excellent choice of ales. Didn't try the food, hence the lack of food rating.

Called in early doors on a Wednesday so very quiet. White Rat ale was spot on as was the lovely pizza. Will be back soon👍🏻

Great selection of ales (always) for the ale drinkers. Sky sports always available for sporting events. Also now excellent selection of real ciders for the cider drinkers. No e big beer garden too and of course, the music scene up stairs, great pub.

Lovely corner pub a short walk from the railway station. Beautiful hanging basket display. The pub is in the CAMRA 2023 Good Beer Guide and also has a Cask Marque. Discount for card carrying CAMRA members. Madge used mine for a pint of Jolly Boys brewery bitter. Very good. Six real ales split between two bar areas so double check. Nice lounge and separate Pool area. A few TV's. The large rear car park is now a beer garden with lots of covered seating as well as open air seating...fine on a pleasant but grey August day. Music outside a bit loud for an old git like me. Even has a table tennis table outside to entertain the kids.
