Why is Woodfield Farm - Farmhouse Inns good for fans?
Useful pre- or post-match stop for drivers: CAMRA/WhatPub locates Woodfield Farm next to the Holiday Inn Express on White Rose Way with a shared car park, making parking and access straightforward on matchdays. The venue serves food from breakfast through the evening (opening and serving hours listed by both the official site and CAMRA), so early kick-offs and late finishes are covered. The adjacent Holiday Inn Express is listed as about 1.3 miles (around a 2-minute drive) from Eco-Power Stadium by Expedia, which indicates a short hop between the pub and the ground for those staying nearby or arriving by car. The official site also notes that coaches are accepted, which can help organised groups on matchdays.

Just had a family meal here - don't think will be back in a rush.
Will start off with the positive - the carvery food was nice...
Now for the negatives
Huge Queues (expect that being a Sunday afternoon, however only 1 member of staff on the till).
No glasses for the drinks at the bar.
Sat in the children's section and it was freezing - the air conditioning unit above the table was on full. Not only did this make it uncomfortable and cold but it also made the food cold really quickly.
We asked for the air conditioning to be turned off (as only our party in that section. Which a member of staff did.
As soon as the air conditioning was turned off we had a swarm of flies around the plates which hadn't been cleared (this despite asking for them to be cleared due to flies - the member of staff continued seeing to empty tables and cleaning these and not removing our plates). Was told be a few minutes and took about 10 minutes to finally get to our table.
After this the air conditioning was turned back on. When we asked for it to be turned off again was told you can either be cold or have the flies!!!
Not a great choice really!!!

I went to woodfield farm today with my friend and my two young children.
The variety on the children's menu was better than most places we've visited, and it was also good value.
The carvery I had was one of the best I've ever had. The variety of vegetables was very impressive, and everything was delicious- again, good value too!
I also love that they do blue light discount, making it even cheaper!
The puddings looked absolutely amazing, but unfortunately, I'd eaten too much carvery...
So I will certainly have to return ASAP.
All the staff I came across were very very friendly, very polite and welcoming.
We had a particularly great service from a man who let us know that my children got a free ice cream with their meals, he asked them what they'd like and got it for them. He was excellent and seemed to be happy to be helping customers! Definitely an asset to your business.
(I have forgotten his name, but he told us he had 6 children, which should help identify him, as I do think he deserves the praise :) )
Can't wait to come back!

We visited for lunch on Monday 17 February, first day of half term.
We booked a table and were promptly seated and told kids eat free. I ordered the chicken combo with napolins sauce, but they had no sauce. I was offered peppercorn sauce but I don't like it. Without the sauce my chicken was dry. Others in my party ordered burgers, even though they had lots of ingredients I was told they were bland and un-seasoned. Food wasn't very hot when it arrived and only the kids plates were hot, ours were cold.
We were going to have desserts but they had run out of children's ice cream (free with kids meals). We left a bit disappointed.

Second time this week we have been for breakfast, both times the staff have been helpful & friendly. It was lovely & quiet when we attended. Mandy & Donna were lovely. The food was hot & fresh. The pub itself was clean & tidy, the toilets were clean.

We were to hungry for the before picture but after a bank holiday weekend away this was definitely needed and was to beautiful to stop and take a pic, the staff were lovely and chatty couldn’t help you enough thank you James and Andrei they even gave us a box full of meat for our coco (dog) as you can see on the first picture that’ll last her all week well depending on if Lauren keeps her beak out the box, we will definitely be coming back .

Food was mostly nice which is about the only good thing I can say.
Service was non existent, 2 meals turned up before the drinks and without any advanced warning for the 3 who ordered carvery. Perhaps advanced warning isn't given because most main meals are ready within the 15 minutes it takes for someone come to serve on carvery section? Plates did not get taken even AFTER puddings arrived.
Atmosphere was abysmal unless you enjoy being around unruly unsupervised kids running around screaming, throwing the soft play equipment and hurting other kids whilst drunk parents loudly swear amongst themselves in the background. Can't blame the staff for not wanting to be about but would have been great if they could pop out to take care things for 2 minutes..
