Right on South Africa Road, a few yards from the Loftus Road entrance, this pub is a classic QPR matchday hub. Sources note it opens on match days with a home-fans-only policy, and it’s known for showing lots of live sport on multiple TVs—ideal for pre- and post-match viewing. It’s regularly flagged as a standout QPR matchday spot, making it convenient for ticket collection points and quick access to the turnstiles. With bar snacks/traditional food available and familiar keg brands on, it works as a practical rendezvous before heading into the ground or for a debrief after the final whistle.

Great for a matchday pint and to soak up the atmosphere (as long as you're a QPR fan)

Strange, strange place.
Went in years ago before a QPR game and it was rammed, loads of bar staff on though that kept things moving.
Last night a different story pre match. Pretty quiet which was a bad sign. Your draft beer options - Carling or Madri, with some cans of Stella, San Mig in the fridge. 2 pints of Madri poured into a plastic glass - £16. 16 British Pounds. I almost felt like asking if they'd made a mistake but I knew deep down no mistake had been made. Carling at a comparatively generous £7. Just absurd. No wonder the locals now stay away.
Saw a couple of other reviews saying it was shut down, is now a hostel etc. One thing for certain is it is not a pub.

Bristol City fan popped in for. A couple of pre-match pints in the sun. Friendly place and a short walk to the ground

A really cosy and somewhat secluded building not far from Queens Park Rangers football club. The pub (The Queen’s Tavern) is no longer in use but the rest of the building is now a hostel. Quiet part of town at night but warm, friendly hostel for the more mature than the rowdy bunch.

Apparently only open when QPR are playing at home. Rough and ready pub with limited range of beers and ciders, no food served but you can take your own in from adjacent burger van. Right next to football stadium and only meant for home fans.

This place is also a hostel, I was a volunteer and witnessed a lot of disturbing behaviour. The entire main floor hosts long-term residents who are all part of a cult. I’ve witnessed one of them offer a drink to a lady who ended up vomiting the rest of the night. They have people who have lived there for years and this is supposed to be a hostel?!
Sometimes the long-stay residents stay in the pub, on mattresses, on the floor and in the dark. They are NOT ALLOWED to turn on the light. Which is whatever, except when on one such occasions, a pregnant lady came, also well acquainted with management, and slept on the floor and had to maneuver in the dark.
One of the guests who started staying a while had a ceremonial stabbing knife in his backpack.
They kept trying to force me to eat there - I refused. On two occasions I opened the door for the owner and rather than say hello, he looked me in the eye and said, “Chains.” As if something was supposed to happen to me.
I overheard one lady talking to the manager about keeping a tighter leash on the guests with kids, because they didn’t want the police sniffing around, in the event that a kid crossed paths with a sketchy guest.
Also, room 4 upstairs has a persistent bed bug problem and before I left it was spreading to the rooms on the main floor.
I’m still in shock… dealing with denial and very, very heavily creeped out. I had my jewelry go missing then it returned after several weeks. I thought the managers were stealing from guests given the very lackadaisical security (and the fact that they lied, blatantly, on a security assessment they were given by the police). Only to slowly realize it’s deeper than petty theft.
I do not know what it is, and frankly I’m afraid to find out. The managers, and owners are dangerous people.
Stay far away, and if you have specific insight call the police.

I love this pub on Footballs days. On Sunday the prices of beer kept changing from 4.50 to 5.50. I bough a pint of Cider and Pint of Larger and a gin and tonic and they charges me £23.00. I could not believe it.
Won't be drinking there again going to White Horse where the beer is still £3.50 the beer was not even that nice. The glasses where not even pint size. The disco is great but the atmosphere was not as good as it used to be.
Very disappointed
