Excellent afternoon at the SB today. Great food, reasonably priced, and Vanessa and Eva were jolly and exuberant, clearly loving life. Bet the staff that my 10 y.o.lad could polish off their monstrous plate of nachos. He did, and the girls settled the wager with a lovely beer themed t-shirt. Lovely staff, good food, would thoroughly recommend.

WOW. First time here and won’t be the last. There were 9 of us. We were served by Vanessa. She recommended dishes, made sure we had what we needed. She was chatty and very polite and knowledgable about how the food is made. The food itself was very fresh, tasty and well presented. We all commented that it was the best meal we have had out as a family in a long time. The steak was cooked as agreed and melted in the mouth. The chicken was moist and tasty. The chips were incredible. Don’t know what they did to them but they are so good. The salad was fresh. The deserts were amazing. Vanessa recommended the deep fried Ferrero Rocher and Snickers. Both were amazing. Not at all greasy and the batter had a doughnut consistency. The place itself is clean and modern. We will be back that’s for sure.

Four of us wanted to have a decent fish and chips dinner. Earlier in the day we called at the pub to book a table, the lovely servers helped us book on line and recognised us when we called back for our booking in the evening. Table was ready, the staff were so happy and friendly and the menu was great. Our drinks and meals arrived promptly and we couldn’t fault a thing. You must try the mushy peas, they rock! Definitely a must do if you’re in Southhampton. .

Had a great meal here! Had the belly buster and it did not disappoint! Flavourful, juicy and satisfying! Also didn’t wait long for food! Was super quick! Weather was good so managed to sit outside! Defo give it a go! Staff wee helpful and on hand when I needed sauces or another drink! Looking forward to trying something else on the menu next time!

Great food , the waitress was really hardworking and friendly. Brought out colouring for my little girl. Kids food come out 10/15minutes before ours which was great as she was finished at the same time. We will be back.

We had the most delicious fish & chips, best cod and chips ever. Friendly helpful staff. Wish this was our local but we live in Scotland, however I would recommend the BB to anyone who likes top quality food at a reasonable price x

I really enjoy this place. The food is great, plenty of drinks to choose from too. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.
