Nice little pub on the waterside. Plenty of outside seating. Decent ale and fair prices.

Shocking experience at the pub. Went in with some mates and had a go on the slots. Immediately kicked off for not being a paying customer, so most of us decided to get drinks. Got id’d again and bags searched. We went to sit at a table outside. Same lady who served us came and found us within a minute of us sitting down and told us in a confronting manor to leave the pub as not all of us bought drinks stating it’s not a drop in it’s a pub. Sorry but not every single person has to buy a drink then and there to be able to socialise at a pub. We didn’t argue and just decided to leave. Will not be returning. Worst pub experience to date. Lady’s attitude towards customers needs to be sorted.

Very quaint and friendly pub in the heart of Ipswich. Staff very friendly, great incentive with a loyalty card scheme. Plenty of outside space and clean toilets.

Just popped in for a quick drink. Great service and a jolly atmosphere. Two chaps sorting a disco/music setup so, possibly a great evening buzz. Will pop in again... Thank you. X
