Good day attending funeral, gathering, ideal venue, service excellent Plenty of room for large party of morners following funeral, food excellent not sure if this was In house or outside caterers! Great atmosphere everyone was comfortable. Toilets and smokers facilities all good. Parking OK, bus to town just outside. All on level, chidren welcome.

Drank here a few times with my wife on Saturday night a good few years ago! Plus, I drank here when it was a Thwaites pub ( locals nick name little house on the prairie). I'm not sure what it was called in the late 90s or early 200s! Belter, of a pub

When here on a Friday night. This was just by chance as had only been here once before on a new year's eve. Totally enjoyed ourselves. There was a fab singer on and a great atmosphere. Staff where very nice and provided an excellent service with a smile. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Cheers guys...

What an absolute belter of a place, great staff, atmosphere,everyone is super friendly and the rooms are very comfy. Pity the place didn't do food but you can order a takeaway & have it delivered to you. Cheap & cheerful. Definitely going bk again

Food was poor, beverage was like warm, and bar service was extremely poor only one bar person left to serve at least 50 odd people she was slow,I waited 17 or 18 minutes to get served with a pint of tetley bitter absolutely abysmal, I will never return to this pub and have advised my circle of friends not to either. I would of stayed only for the abysmal service.
