As like old pubs stopped here. Was really busy but looked nice. Nice atmosphere. Staff friendly and welcoming. Full of history. Is situated on the main road. We didn't eat but the food looked really nice. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Discovered this lovely pub recently while walking the Thames path. Been back three times already. I like a deal so went for the Friday 'fish and chips', comes with a free drink. Lovely beer battered fish and skin on chips from 'real' potatoes not frozen. Wednesdays is 'pie and pint' again was excellent. You can 'go large for free' on any dish served with potatoes or veg. Good idea to avoid food waste. If you can eat it you can have it. The pub feels friendly and homely. The menu is fairly simple, straightforward pub food, but great quality

Visited The Town of Ramsgate on Saturday for a couple of drinks with colleagues. The place was buzzing — clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. Great atmosphere even with the crowd, and a really nice selection of beers and ales with rich colour and flavour. Classic riverside pub charm with a warm, lively vibe. Will definitely be back.

A lovely pub. Said to be the oldest on the River Thames! Staff super friendly and food Ok. Situated by the Old Wapping Steps. Definitely worth a visit.

It's very hot inside, but it's great nonetheless, for it has a fabulous atmosphere. I had the (delectable) steak and ale pie which, on Wednesdays, comes with a glass of wine or a pint. £20 for a large steak and ale pie, with mash (or chips) and vegetables, AS WELL AS a 175ml glass of decent house red, isn't bad at all, imo. We also shared a very tasty bottle of Shiraz, for £30. The interior has a great buzz and the outside terrace, while the opposite of hot, is a really relaxing, quieter place to finish off the bottle of red. What a great little pub this is.

We had been planning a visit for a long time and were finally able to come! The food was amazing, I loved every bite of it, and me and my company all demolished everything on our plates. We got the Moroccan pie, the Steak and Ale pie and the chicken burger. I definitely recommend the pies and cannot explain how much I loved the Moroccan one! The chicken in the chicken burger was crispy, I recommend that one as well. We’re already planning our next visit!
