Why is The Rose Villa Tavern good for fans?

Matchdays work here because the pub actively shows live Premier League fixtures (Sky Sports/TNT listings are published on its own TV Sport page), so you can catch early kick-offs or the late game. Away-day guides for trips to West Brom recommend stopping at the Jewellery Quarter—specifically naming The Rose Villa Tavern—as a suitable pre-match spot for visiting supporters heading from Snow Hill, which makes it a neutral, fan-mixing option. The kitchen serves food daily from lunchtime into the evening, so you can get a meal with your pint before heading to the ground or staying on for the televised match.

The Rose Villa Tavern is a must visit if you’re in the area and looking for a great time with amazing staff and great food. I’ve been here for multiple occasions, and each time it has been fantastic. I have also booked their function room for several events and have never been disappointed or have any complaints. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the food is always cooked perfectly with a big portion. The background music being played is a nice touch, setting the atmosphere up for an amazing time. Whether you’re looking to book an event, or just in the area the Rose Villa Tavern is your go to.

Edit review: have been back and the pub has had a revamp. New cloth on the benches and new chairs. Very impressed they have revamped the place. Guinness is still very good from here. Will give it 4 stars now as I didn't try the food but pub is clean and staff excellent A decent pint of Guinness and ok service let down by sub par food and general cleanliness of the places (see photos). Food was ok nothing great not really worth the price you pay. Was given a dirty knife(see photos) basic requirement would be to at least give clean cutlery. The place needs a serious revamp starting to look run down. Benches got plenty of stains and not been cleaned properly. Would probably not return here however the pint of Guinness was pretty decent so that was a plus.

We stopped here after going to a baggies game. A superb looking old school pub and the staff and service was second to none. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was lovely, myself and my my wife had the saucy wings and Singapore noodles, and my 10 year old was more than satisfied with his southern fried chicken tacos. Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Katie (I think her name was) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our visit. We have now decided that this will be our "go to place" every time we to watch the mighty baggies 💙⚽💙

Nice enough pub in the Jewellery Quarter, quite busy on a Saturday afternoon, however seats were available. No cask conditioned ale but they have Brixton and Beavertown pale ale on keg.

First time in the area, so I called in as have always loved 'proper' pubs. It didn't disappoint. Bar staff were great, and we had a great time. Not sure on food, but there were plenty eating and it looked good. 4 stars only because I think £25 for 4 pints is expensive, that said, I am from Yorkshire. Definitely worth a visit.
