So I was in Southend to watch my Beloved Oldham Athletic Vs Southend at Roots hall, fan bar at the stadium and the blue boar 🐗 are for home fans only so ended up at the Railway pub which had a mixture of Oldham and Southend fans. Boozer was absolutely hammered and a fantastic atmosphere with football ⚽️ on the tvs throughout the pub, Polite and friendly staff, To drink my first pint was a pint of Doom bar which wasn't the best and then I opted for a pint of Moretti. You can pay cash or card, Extremely busy on match day which is to be expected meaning a short wait to get served but definitely recommend The Railway Tavern 🍺. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆

If you fancy grown men literally screaming + shouting at the top of their voices and (marching powder) then you'll love this place, no landlord or staff ownership, shame it could of worked.

Great beer garden great bar staff. Great music . Yay check out monkies wedding great duo. Played inside to a rocking crowd Local folk who are happy to be happy and enjoy a goid night out . Child friendly.

Has burger bar on football days home fans pub for Southend. Allow some away supporters if behaviour good. Good beers . TV with sport games on. Nice friendly pub

Great pub to visit before and after Southend united games. Always have enough bar staff covering so you are never waiting an age for a drink and lots of screens to watch the footy plus a great crisp selection 👍
