We came in with our daughter wanting to spend good money in your establishment before we had even ordered or sorry before we had received our drinks the nice gentleman who owns it called gary give us the news we couldn't plat pool as our daughter was under age may I add we are allowed to play in all other pubs in braintree and will continue to use these pubs and not the pub ever again very unprofessional

Proper little boozer with so many friendly and welcoming people.
Staff are always lovely and chatty. They have so many different themed nights from bingo to live bands.
It's clean and alot of pride has been taken in making the venue look inviting.

Great night out here to watch a fantastic local band 'City Sound'. Has a great atmosphere despite being essentially quite a small place. They have several sports being screened simultaneously on about 5 television screens covering the main bar area.
Considering this is a small place it had a larger pub feel to it with a distinct vibe. They have a vast selection of drinks including a good choice on the £2 shelf!
Prices are on par with most pubs but not duper cheap or super expensive.
Only lost a point due to it's location making parking particularly tricky.
The whole place was clean and glasses were cleared away regularly. The staff are very polite and friendly and I can highly recommended this place.

Great Pub, great regular variety of entertainment and definitely a safe place for women to drink and feel safe without feeling vulnerable. Superb landlord and landlady, bar staff to boot. Great venues attached for other events from kids parties, wedding celebrations, wakes or any other celebrations.

Popped in a few weeks ago and found this to be quite a good place. Lots of groups and made for a great atmosphere. Will have to make the effort to go back for a few hours next time. Didn’t have time to spend as we were on our way somewhere else but thought give it a go. 👍👍
