A great local pub close to Barnsley Town centre which serves a wide variety of beverages it boasts a decent sized room for any function like a special birthday or anniversary, the staff are pleasant and helpful, the pub is also a short walk from Barnsley fc making it a favourite pre match venue.

Great for private functions and the landlord is fantastic, he takes the time to chat. It's also well positioned to get to with plenty of parking and town just a few minutes walk. COSY, FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. We'll worth a visit.

When hiring the function room I/we didn’t very much appreciate how the staff let the general public into the same room and eating the food we’ve provided for our family and friends when we was having a private function. I’m at a 40th this weekend at the same venue I’ll update on Monday if this is still the problem but I wouldn’t recommend it personally.

Went for a birthday party. Djs cables were laid all over. Wires hanging out of plugs where people were sitting. No pat testing on anything.
Bar staff were miserable too
