Decent find this pub. Got lots of indoor and outdoor space. Has lots of tvs with football on. Beer is good. Food is pretty average. Burger was not flavourful or spicy as it was meant to be. All came out too quick to cook fresh so assume it’s lots of heated up not freshly prepared.

If you’re in London and need a laid-back spot to grab a pint near Tower Hill, The Minories is a solid go-to. It’s one of those pubs that doesn’t try too hard—just good drinks, decent food, and a vibe that says, “stay awhile.” Tucked under the railway arches, it’s got that old-school charm with exposed brick, cozy booths, and a beer garden that’s surprisingly chill even when the city’s buzzing. They’ve got all the usual suspects on tap—real ales, lagers, and a few rotating craft picks. The food’s classic pub fare: burgers, fish and chips, loaded fries. Nothing groundbreaking, but it hits the spot after a long day or before heading to a gig. What really makes it work is the atmosphere. Big screens for sports, friendly staff who don’t hover, and enough space to hang with a group without shouting over each other. It’s popular with locals and tourists alike, and for good reason—it’s reliable, relaxed, and right in the heart of the action. Whether you’re catching a match, meeting mates, or just want a pint with character, The Minories delivers the kind of pub experience that feels comfortably familiar.

A way bigger place than it looks like from the outside. The place is clean and the staff friendly. There is a wide choice of beers at the bar. The food was way better than expected. From the outside it looks tiny. Dr who would be proud of how much space there is inside. Nice beer garden too

Came for bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The service was a bit slow to begin with but then soon picked up. The drinks were good quality despite them being out of some ingredients. We ordered the nachos and burger. The nachos were good quality but the burger was really poor and tasted overcooked. Despite this, we would return and would recommend this to others.

My son and I were looking for a place to watch the Arsenal v Real Champions league game. The Minories pub was close to our hotel. We headed there without booking, and watched the whole match standing because it was packed, but the vibe was great. Amazing experience. Servers were friendly. Then the next day we came back with my daughter and wife. We had Fish and Chips. It was delicious. Thanks for the experience.

The Minories, a large cellar style pub located under the arches of the DLR, next to Tower Gateway station. A great selection of beers and ciders is on offer. Many kegs but also three cask ales on offer. Loads of books and crannies to get lost in. There is also the world's most open confessional, every pub needs one. A fun place for a pint.

Never try food at this place, drinks are okay but the food. My god the worst buddha bowl of my life. And wings were so stale. 14.5 pounds for this bowl my drunk state would cook a better one for less than 3 pounds

We went here on the recommendation of a local, perfect stop for lunch. Had a couple pints, lunch special meals and some sides for our two kids in an enclosed area, worked out perfect.
