I'd rather eat dog food. The breaded mushrooms took 20 minutes to arrive and had sat under the lights forever. The hamburger was reminiscent of cardboard. Not enough staff. We're still waiting for the replacement to arrive. Disgusting, save yourselves. Avoid like the plague!

We have been to this beefeater before and the service and food were okay. However, we were really disappointed in our last visit.
We were made to sit at the bar despite there being many tables free at the restaurant part of this branch. The front of house told the people in front of us they could sit in the restaurant part upstairs but that was somehow not an option for us? She rushed us to the bar.
We then ordered our food, and had to check what was going on after we were waiting for 40 minutes. The bar staff were lovely and went to check on it right away bringing our food out.
However, it was very obvious that our food was sat under the heat lamp waiting for a long time as my steak was very dry on the outside and not medium rare as asked. After waiting for 40 mins, I was starving so did not even send it back but I should have.
Shame that they call themselves a steakhouse…

Treat service and the food was surprisingly good..I do tend to tar all with the same brush but this place exceeded expectations. Steak cooked to perfection.yes service was not the fastest but you know what..... thats fine. I hate being rushed anyway.

Booked to have a meal after the theatre. Polite gentleman showed us to our table. Then came the fun. Dawn served us. Well every restaurant could do with at least 1 Dawn but preferably more. Right from the off she was friendly, kind, helpful, in fact went over and above to elevate our experience from good to excellent. She was very busy but had time for everyone. We will be back and we will ask to sit where Dawn is serving. Thank you and see you soon x

Terrible experience for an evening meal. Seemed very quiet but were told restaurant fully booked so sent into the bar. There were empty tables the whole time I was there! Ordered a Guinness which was end of barrel trickled out of the pump and tasted awful. The food was dry not presented very well and for a meal costing around £18 I didn’t think around ten dried up chips was good value. I would not eat in here again if they paid me.

last time we came here in february it was great, but since then things have unfortunately gone downhill. I ordered a drink and the waitress bought out the wrong drink twice, i had to go up to the bar in the end to sort it out. We had our starters in due time however the wings were rather sauce-less , i guess just not to my tasting. Then we had to wait an hour for the mains, which were all overcooked and dry (see photos). So majority of the party couldn’t eat them. The music is bad, ibiza house in a pub?😂The staff communication between kitchen and floor is pure shouting so again- lovely atmosphere lol. Thankfully the manager sorted us out with a discount so we only paid for the drinks and starters. The young female bartender who sorted out my drink was lovely, aswell as the young guy with a buzzcut. So shoutout to those 3 for doing a good job. A very upsetting and frustrating meal out unfortunately . :(

Ollie’s service was outstanding, working under pressure in a busy restaurant. Was polite, welcoming and friendly. All in all the quickness of the complete experience was brilliant. Thanks and massive compliments to the triple chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream for desert.

.Long waiting time, both for food and to be seated.
If you go for the bar seating area, expect to wait and have to remind the bar staff about your food order.
I am still waiting for a house salad that I have ordered two weeks ago Saturdays this week. Same for some desserts, got tired of waiting and left.
I would never eat here and pay with my own money.
The only reason I'm there is that I have accommodation at the Premier Inn & the meal deal paid by my employer.
Wouldn't recommend to anyone personally!
