Wind Street Castle Square, Swansea, SA1 1DP, United Kingdom
Why is The Griffin good for fans?
A central Wind Street pub that leans into matchdays: The Griffin advertises live football with Sky Sports and TNT Sports on three giant screens plus multiple HD TVs, so you won’t miss a kick. You can pre-book for fixtures and check listings, and there’s food served through the day—useful for pre-match fuel or half-time bites—via its published menus and serving times. Fan-oriented copy on the live-sport page explicitly says everyone is welcome for live sport, reinforcing it as a neutral meeting spot on game days.

A small group of us watched the fa cup final here. We were looking for somewhere a little quieter so we could talk too but also with a atmosphere and that's exactly what was here. Good drink at low prices, comfy seating and quiet enough to talk and hear. Maybe a little quieter than expected for a cup final. Plenty of tvs so no matter which way you say you could see the game

What a fantastic grand pub/restaurant. As you walk in you are greeted with the most friendliest staff , big smiles and cheeky banter.

This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with a glorious and bright design! The pretty architecture of the walls and ceiling contribute as does the red lighting, counter is well-presented too. I enjoyed a cranberry cocktail, sitting comfortably at a clean table and the toilets were fine too!

Watched the Lions rugby match and had food here. Good atmosphere, lovely food, 2 meals for £16. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed, I recommend the place.

Booked a table on line for the 22nd March to eat at 730pm. Security wouldn't let my 17 year old son in (with his parents) I explained he was with us to eat but they said no. I said there is nothing in the website explaining this or asking who is going to be dining. Rubbish process. I would avoid. Loads more places to eat nearby we got a lovely meal and yes there was a bar but no hassle for ID. Think it did us a favour as Griffin looked rough

The food is about what you expect from a pub, it's cheap and easy to eat. The interior was great as they changed the area depending on events and games that are open. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable, comfortable and welcoming spacious pub. Great value on drinks and food. (Enjoyable meal, few beers and still change from a tenner.) Probably the best pub on the street. Huge screens to watch football, rugby and other big sporting events. Liked alot!
