A short walk from Watford Junction (20 mins from Euston) or Watford Overground station (The met line station is a slightly longer walk) the perfect place to take a break from city life + spend time in Hertfordshire 🌳 Add the garden rooms watford to your summer go to list! My daughter and I dropped by for brunch today. The cafe is very pleasant and decorated beautifully. A very warm welcome too. There is a good menu, enough choice but not over fussy! We tried the smashed avacado on toast and a fishfinger sandwich. Both were great! Very fresh and good quality produce. Had a look at the bar downstairs which is lovely. With talk of cocktails, wine tasting and a good choice of sharing platters we will definitely be coming back to try these out on an evening. So nice to have a good quality, independent venue to eat and socialise in Watford. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful brunch experience at The Garden Rooms. Christina, our server, was friendly and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. The smashed avocado on sourdough and huevos rancheros were both incredibly tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great background music and lovely green decor that added to the ambiance. I highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch outing.

Great little cafe, Brunch was good, egg Benedick was cooked to perfection with a nice sharpness off the lemon. Only downside is the coffee, my flat white was watery.

A hidden gem in Watford. Gorgeous interior, a quiet little place to have brunch or study and quick service. I got the Huevos Rancheros for brunch - good portion size and really tasty!

Went in for lunch today, food was brilliant (macaroni and cheese with chorizo) and good selection of drinks. Will definitely be back.

The service was really friendly and coffee was good. The place has nice music and atmosphere but the food we had could be better.
