Took my son to our family's football heritage. My family has played, sponsored, and watched hundreds of games over the generations. We are 4th generation supporters, and we travelled from south Wales and Weston-super-Mare.
Great club and forever in my heart.
Can't wait fir wemberly.

The pitch for the juniors finals week was disgraceful. This historic club and its fans deserve so much better than the current ownership is giving them. The FA Trophy final demonstrated how much passion and potential excitement there could be for the club, but the lack of ambition is glaring and season after season stunts their prospective progress on the pitch.

The home of football! For the best seats, sit in the South Stand. The view is great and there are no obstructions to get in your way.
The North Stand has a few supporting pillars for the roof so they can obstruct your view. The terracing sections are good though.
The Community Stand at the High Street End is a fair distance away from the pitch and you don't get any atmosphere there.
If you want atmosphere, the East Bank is for you. Again, there are supporting pillars for the roof, but you can move around and get better views.
The facilities are basic, with toilets behind each of the three main stands (South, North and East).
The bars are well-stocked and the East Bank Bar is ideal in the summer.

OK. So it's my local ground and team. Without this, I've always questioned what people in towns without football teams did at weekends and midweek evenings. Support your local side

First time back at the Recreation ground as it was known then over 30 years ago, along with family members we enjoyed the atmosphere albeit a goalless draw.Stewards were on hand to help out and there was a good home support, tickets were according to age etc,and ample food and drink areas, would be nice to see this club back in the league.

Great for kids to watch football friendly stewards good prematch entertainment for children. You are nice and close to the pitch.

Pros and cons! Nice stadium for non league and pitch is pretty decent. Lots of standing and good atmosphere, especially in the East Bank. But pricey for non league (IMO), and facilities could do with being updated. Overall proper old school ground and a good afternoon or evening out.
