My family came here for a Sunday roast yesterday and we were beyond happy! The food was 10/10, the meat especially was amazing and everything was so flavourful. We felt really looked after and the owners (I assume) were super friendly. The interior was tasteful and has lots of natural light for a pub plus a big garden. Would love to come back!!

Absolutely banging Sunday roast!!
At a reasonable price too.
The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked and generous portion. The roasties were good and the seasonal veg was tasty. And I love that you can ask for more veg, although we didn’t as there was already loads!
The Yorkshire pudding was lovely and a nice gravy.
Definitely recommend their Sunday roast. Much better than a lot of the other local pubs.
Interior is nice and big. Garden is big too. Only thing was the acoustics inside isn’t great and a child being loud and not controlled by parents could be heard through our whole meal.
We had lovely service from the waitress who was so friendly and helpful.

Lovely Day spent in a little pub hidden away in Greenwich, the Smoked food was amazing, and they apparently change the menu every Thursday. Staff were very friendly, and so were locals, it was also dog friendly! Would highly recommend!

Full stars from us, we popped in during a day trip to Greenwich on Good Friday and it was an excellent experience. Staff were friendly and the pub owner checked in a few times to make sure we had a good time. Especially recommend the Broccoli side! You’ll understand when you try it…

Greenwich's best kept secret, The Duke of Greenwich, is an independently owned gem of a "local" pub guaranteed to make you feel at home.
Warm welcome, attentive service, family (dogs included!) friendly, serving carefully sourced drink and food menus alike. The Sunday roast is renowned and does not disappoint - as good as mum's (or dad's)!
Small and thoughtful touches such as a games to entertain the children (or inner child), a twinned toilet, and a basket of accessible sanitary hygiene products available in the female WC cubicles do not go unnoticed and attest to the sense of community fostered at the heart of this tucked away delight.

This lovely little independent gem of a pub has an amazing garden and beautiful interior, including a large room which can be hired for private functions. The staff are a friendly fun bunch always up for a laugh. If you like Guinness, you MUST try the London Black!

This pub is dog and kids friendly.
The menu isn't too long and we tried all the small plates (other than the pork belly, which was sold out) to share between the 4 of us. The hummus with flat bread was perfect. Also polished off the crispy whitebait. The BBQ cauliflower wings were ok. From the charcoal grill section we got cheeseburgers. There may be more BBQ food in the summer. There are roasts on Sundays.
We were too full to order more, but they do offer desserts. The peanut butter cheesecake sounded the most popular.
There is a garden area out back. Some people were braving the cold weather to hang out there.
We booked via first table and had no problems getting the offer.

Hands down the best Sunday roast in town! Everything was cooked to perfection—from the tender meat to the crispy roast potatoes and rich gravy. Cozy vibe, great service, and solid pints to top it all off. The Duke of Greenwich is an absolute gem!
