This wonderful establishment will be my over riding, cherished memory of my day oop norf to see the mighty Stones play fylde. Unlike the match, this pub played a blinder and resulted in a feeling of victory. One of those rare places where you felt right at home straight away. In many ways, my ideal pub.

The lady working today (April First around 1pm) was an absolute gem. Great pints for a very good price and she was so kind and accommodating. I’d forgotten my lighter and she even went to her car to try and find one! Absolute legend. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area

Honestly just an alright pub. Everyone was a regular and the staff can be nice. All around good atmosphere. Having worked a stint there I can also say that it's a decent pub even on match days as they do have football on and it's not filled with people screaming for their teams and is an easy place to watch a match.

Good beer and great staff. New owners still the same quality service. Beer garden under refurbishment, making new seating area and eventually adding an outdoor TV. Bringing back food baskets and pizzas 🍕

I visited The Stanley Arms for a drink and possibly some food. When I walked in the customers and barman looked at me as though we shouldn’t be there. I asked for two different drinks which I was laughed at and told they don’t stock, no apology no alternative offered. No food offered. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I get the impression that unless you are local you are not welcome. It was a shame because the pub itself is a very nice old building, let down by poor service.

Friendly and decent proper pub in the small town Wesham not far from Blackpool. Barmaid was friendly and welcoming (didn't catch her name, but she was friendly and polite) didn't interact with the regulars, but they seem a nice bunch and no trouble or problems were had and made the atmosphere friendly and your typical local community pub. Was visiting from Birmingham via Blackpool watching Kidderminster Harriers play at Fylde and were welcoming and accommodating and I will certainly come back for a drink and recommend this pub.
