The atmosphere was relaxing after a busy day. Ebony went out of her way to make sure our visit was rememberable. I went for the Big Daddy Burger it was delicious and well worth the money. I will be certainly visiting again

Visited The Red Sails for carvery on Sunday June 1st with my husband and friend. My friend booked the table the day before for 1:30 as we were going to The Deep at 10am and wanted plenty of time to get around there in case it was busy. Well The Deep trip only lasted about an hour and after having a little walk around the old town we decided try head over to the pub, an hour before we had our table booked for. We were politely greeted at the door by the host to be shown to our table. It was busy but that was to be expected as it's the last day of half term for kids so there was a lot of families coming and going along with other customers. Overall, quite a nice atmosphere to arrive to! We ordered via the QR code that was well labeled on our table at number 25 and within 5 minutes a lady came with our drinks and a gentleman with our cutlery and how to go about getting our carvery as you don't get a ticket/paper receipt when ordering on the app. Well, the food was brilliant. Ben, the lad doing the meats and such was polite, cheerful and friendly, refreshing compared to other places we've eaten at recently. The full carvery station was so nicely presented and clean, fair play to the staff as I can only imagine how many spills they must end up cleaning up throughout the day! We were stuffed so didn't opt for dessert but that's definitely on the cards for our next visit! Thank you for a great lunch, can't wait to be back!

We really enjoyed our food, there's a good range of options and very fairly priced. The staff just make the place, especially Sammy. She is so friendly and helpful she went above and beyond for us when my dad felt unwell and nothing was too much bother. We can't explain how thankful we are for her!

I've been after having a carvery for a while, and I wasn't disappointed. The Morretti went down like velvet, My fiance had the Mixed Grill but didn't get a chance to get a photo of that. I had the carvery, which was lush and totally defeated me. I had a bit of all the meats, and they were succulent and juicy. The yorky was crispy and delicious, the veggies were scrummy, carrots were my fave, and the pigs were delish. All finished off with some yummy gravy. All the staff were very helpful, professional and you felt you were in good hands. Special mention for Rosie and Scarlet, couldn't be more helpful and for Cory, Carvery maestro ...cheers folks for a lovely meal 😋

Pleasant pub with a lovely atmosphere. Service from Ebony was great - prompt and polite. We both had carvery meals - turkey was beautiful but beef was over cooked as was the pigs in blankets. Vegetables and all the other trimmings - perfect

I have been coming to this for regular carveries for years, always been great service and good food. However the carvery today made by Alfie has blown me away, nothing was dry, all cooked to perfection. Even went to give my complements to the chef. Best place for a Carvery

Orded the salt and chilli kebab was given what looked like charcoal chicken was not salt and chillie at all. Asked for sour cream and was given salad cream. Sticky toffee pudding was hard . Not great food this time usually really nice
