Why is Queen's Hotel good for fans?

Listed among Swansea pubs that show football and with big screens/terrestrial TV, Queen’s Hotel works for watching early/late kick-offs. Lunchtime food is served around 12:00–14:30 on most days, suiting a pre-match meal before a 3pm game. CAMRA/WhatPub also notes it’s close to bus routes and the railway station, making it a convenient city-centre base on matchdays. Regular cask options include Theakston alongside rotating guests from Bristol Beer Factory, Fuller's and Glamorgan, so groups can expect a solid beer choice before or after the game.

One of the best town pubs I have been to in ages. In a quiet location, 2 mins walk from the Waterfront Museum. It has extremely good value food that was proper home cooked. The place was full of locals and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. I thoroughly recommend this gem and we will be back. Gosh, nearly forgot, proper ale too!

Haven't been in this pub for nearly 50 years, hasn't changed a bit from when I worked in the wages office in Viscose factory on the dock and used to go there for drinks with the staff! Nice atmosphere, home cooked food, what more do you need, exactly the same as I remember it! 👌

Just went to the pub for a drink. Quirky place. Very friendly, excellent beer.

Good old fashioned pub. Could have used another bartender, but the one there was doing a great job noting who was next and serving in turn. Nice beers (though like many pubs now) were out of a number of them on tap. Wine selection limited but recently opened and not "turning" as can happen at some pubs that are "beer" first pubs.

Great old traditional pub with an interesting history, great band on Saturday night.

Great local pub in a central location, with friendly staff, clientele, and old peculiar on tap - a very welcome surprise. Pints are exceedingly well priced. The interior is lovely too, with some lovely couches and armchairs to sit on, which was a relief to our party, as we'd just been on a long walk. The only thing I'd ask for was a better non-alcoholic selection - I would advise Drop Bear beer as it's produced in Swansea and is both gluten and alcohol free!

This quality boozer in the old part of SA1 is special with great characters and always a warm welcome for everyone. Thanks to the bar staff for the service and making you feel at home. Back soon to try the grub.👍

A great pub, one of only a few left that's a traditional place.
