Had a fantastic experience at The Phoenix in Tamworth! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Georgina was especially wonderful—friendly, approachable, and incredibly attentive. She went above and beyond when one of our party experienced a drop in blood sugar due to diabetes, making sure they were looked after swiftly and with genuine care.
The food was lovely, with a great selection of drinks to choose from. The breakfast was particularly good—fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Overall, a brilliant visit with excellent service. Highly recommend!

Popped in to have a quick celebratory drink for my friend's daughter's 21st. Decent selection of wines, draught beers, cider etc. It was mid afternoon on a weekday, so quite quiet. Got served quickly and lots of available seating. Prices average, and we've been frequenting this pub for over 15 years. Food is standard pub grub, friend had fish and chips and we looked on...🤣 There's outdoor seating, online menu ams is also doggie friendly 🐾 Overall, not bad, but I'm biased at it's an old favourite when I'm in Tamworth...😃⚘️

Great cask ales and great food too.
It may take a while for your meal to be served but it is worth the wait. There are many lagers and ales to try while waiting.
