O'Neill's Bournemouth

Why is O'Neill's Bournemouth good for fans?

In the town-centre on Old Christchurch Road, O'Neill's Bournemouth is a sports-focused pub showing live football on Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with fixtures promoted on its dedicated football/sport pages—useful for early kick-offs and post-match viewing. WhatPub also notes a large screen for sport and that it's close to Bournemouth railway station and bus routes, making it practical for matchday travel. Food is served daily (listed menus and kitchen hours to 10pm), so groups can eat pre- or post-game without moving on.

Easy to find a seat, even on a Friday evening. Place was very warm for midsummer—no fans in sight, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The barman seemed quite miserable… a smile wouldn’t hurt! Menus had quirky wording, which I absolutely loved. Food arrived hot, tasty, and portion sizes were just right. Peas were undercooked, but the steak was done exactly as requested. Gammon was lovely—not fatty—and the chips were great too. Drinks come in either small or large, which felt a bit odd. The music? Fabulous. A fun, nostalgic mix of oldies—none of the usual chart stuff, which was refreshing! Would visit again!

Comfy spot in the middle of town, variety of food to choose from and just order and pay from your phone. Outdoor sitting is nice in the late afternoon and not too noisy despite being next to a major roadway. Food itself was really nice and good portion-to-price size.

Big up the bartender Joe what a guy. Really made our night. It’s nice having conversations with the general public, it reminds us of the good in the world, Joe embodies that. Enough with the Joe glaze, I’m sure he has a dark side.

It was nice ,the pizza was meat filled and tasty but too oily asides that it was a good experience. It had a lot of people in it at the time I was there guess that’s of good sign of a great customer experience.

Small personal but with big tables that can cater to 10 to 16 people. The only place I've found with rump steak on the menu since I've been in the UK or Jersey. Also Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia on the wine list.

Massive shout out to Laura who couldn't have done more for us. Last minute bookings, and we had decorations and games on the table. Service was fast - plenty of drinks. Food was lovely. But overall Laura made my friends 30th birthday. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone else looking for a bottomless brunch

The manager this evening 25th June was fantastic. She made it simple for me to make an order for drinks for my daughter’s table as a surprise for her exams .going over and beyond to help me make this happen. Brilliant and helpful , would recommend A****
