This iconic pub , long time run down and massive credit to the new owners. Massively turned it around. Food is top notch pub grub. Honestly the best pub food in the surrounding area by far. We have eaten 4 times already, from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brilliant food and lovely staff every time.

I recently visited this fantastic little pub run by Zoe, Tony and their family, and I can't recommend it enough! Arriving for breakfast around 10:30 AM on Sunday, I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was delightful, but what truly made my day was the incredible Sunday lunch. It was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home, and I ended up staying most of the day, enjoying every moment. Thank you for making me feel so welcome—I can't wait to come back!

First time visiting this Pub after living in Warton when they ran the Clifton Arms Pub and hearing from my friends how good Zoe and the Team where at putting their Customers at the heart of everything they did. I heard they had took over Lane Ends Pub in Wesham so on Thursday decided we would go and have Lunch they welcome Dogs so took Frankie and was welcomed. I choose the Homemade Cheese and Onion Pie fresh vegetables and Home made chips the portion size was huge and it was one of the best meals ever we will certainly be back.

Had Beef Sunday dinner fantastic presentation superb also the cheese and onion pie is amazing the chips so crispy. Certainly be going back to try the rest of the menu. So friendly it is a hit from me and my husband even just for a drink

Amazing pub, taken over by the lovely Zoe and Tony, adding a modern touch to the place has made a massive difference and just what kirkham and wesham needed with somewhere lovely and friendly to enjoy some great food and have a drink inside and out!

Went on the steak night £50 x 2 people Include a bottle of house wine I’m a chef of 42 years and I can honestly say those steaks are the same as you get in any chain pub at two for £15 Even Dad the dish who was sat on the next table complained over the quality of the steak If you’re going to introduce steak night, then please the steak has to be bigger and the quality has to be a lot better
