Why is Kenilworth Road good for fans?

Inside Kenilworth Road’s away end there’s a licensed bar specifically for visiting supporters (capacity limited to 60), plus refreshment kiosks serving hot snacks and drinks. That makes it a straightforward pre-match stop once you’re through the Oak Road turnstiles, without needing to search for nearby pubs that admit away fans. Kiosks also sell alcoholic and soft drinks before kick-off and at half-time. The ground is simple to reach on matchday: Luton railway station is roughly a 15-minute walk, and the Luton–Dunstable Busway from Luton Station drops you at Clifton Road for a short walk to the turnstiles. For away fans wanting quick food and a drink on site, it’s the most convenient option.

A great old fashioned ground with unique access for away fans. Food and drink not too bad. Not the best place to find somewhere to park unless you arrive very early. At least they've moved the disabled supporters away from the shared area with home fans. The new area is a lot easier to get to with all facilities in close proximity. That's one of the better things Luton have done.

Argyle on tour !! I have not been here for 20yrs but not a lot has changed. A few extra seats cobbled together in various parts of the ground to increase the size of the stadium for the Premier League "adventure ". Oh...and yes...the wooden seats have been removed for safe standing throughout the away end. No longer can I trip over the seats and hyper ventilate when we score !! But....it is an iconic stadium steeped in history and completely unique. Hidden amongst the rows of depressing tiers of terraced houses, it is nearly as difficult to navigate as the Gtech stadium at Brentford. Long may it survive. Two very poor teams played a "war of attrition " on a football pitch. Terrible!! We got a draw though.....and thankfully we are going back to Plymouth. The stadium may be iconic....Luton.....is not !!

A tale of two halves - very hospitable on entry and a club in the heart of the community. Great little bar (very old school 👍) and well stewarded with good humour. Leaving was a different story - was directed in the opposite direction from my arrival in an unfamiliar place with no listening ear and after 15 minutes walking was back 15 metres from where I left the ground! Felt very let down 👎

Not the best for away fans. Entry is between residences with no space at all. Moderate toilets and limited concessions. View from the away section is terrible - lots of posts and floodlight stands in view. Possibly the worst Championship football club I have visited for away fans.

Actually a nice little stadium these guys have. It was my first time watching Luton town play. It was a great atmosphere! It's really closed in and old fashioned and you really get to feel every moment! The staff here are really lovely and the burger van outside do some really great burgers! Would probably have to rate it 5 out of 5!
