Good selection of beers from kegs to cask. Even better choice of Belgium beers with brewery specific glass, which I thought was a nice touch. The woman serving was very pleasant and helpful with all my questions about the bottled beers.

Great if you like an old style pub. It's for anyone that likes to check out a great selection of craft ales. Food consisted of a selection of cobs. We had amply filled cheese and onion. Very tasty. Very friendly and obliging staff.

Just a quick drink before football. It was quiet, only 6 in the bar and 8 in the back room. It was quiet, peaceful, and very enjoyable. The lady serving was lovely and there was plenty of drinks to choose from. There was also seating outside.

Great value & glucose free syrup beer. So Camden Hells & Hawstone both on tap. Not the usual bad stuff. Will visit again

So we go to the Sheffie every Sunday used to drink locally however found the Sheffie really welcoming,friendly,and love the Hawson lager that they sell,we’ve been coming here every Sunday for a couple of months everybody is so welcoming and friendly that’s why we keep returning,however today we heard news that the borough council as complained about the noise volume,from the singers that play on the weekend so they have had to keep the volume down,I agree to a degree abput the volume however there is so many pubs closing down you would think that they would accept the volume of noise for a couple or 3 hours or so,the amount of pubs that have closed down over the last few months if not years,the Sheffie as bought the community back together,t everyone that is welcomed are approximately the age from 40 onwards,there is never any problems or trouble ,everybody is having a drink,chatter and a good time,I miss have been calling for this for many years and now the council have stepped in,any wonder the pubs are closing down they are in no win situation.

Very nice friendly pub, good weekend entertainment. Unfortunately for me they just stopped selling my favourite lager so back to the Spoons down the road.

Had a lovely Sunday roast there, not tried the beer yet as ide probably pass out if I had anything stronger than a bottle of bud 😁
