Brief visit on the way to the football. No cask beer so I wasn't likely to stay long. Amiable landlord and busy (football) with people who seemed happy enough with what was on offer. Handy for the train, especially Northfleet. Probably wouldn't rush back but you don't have many alternatives. Good luck to them

This is my absolute favourite place to drink. Friendly staff, excellent drink range and 1 in a million service. Regular karaoke, guy on the piano is amazing, discos and boogies. The rose is the place to be on a Saturday night

Popped in for a pint and it was a friendly atmosphere. The pub has been redecorated and it helps the ambiance. It's a good reliable local pub that I hope thrives and stays for years to come.

Always a jolly atmosphere and friendly welcome, good prices and a burger van in the garden. Pool table a bit small but hey you can always play darts :)

A lovely family run pub. Warm welcome and cold beer which is reasonably priced. Lovely patio beer garden which also houses rabbits, chickens and a fish pond. Sky t.v juke box and fruit machine. Has its own pool and darts teams. Bar nibbles and a meat raffle on a Sunday. The only reason it scored 4 and not 5 stars is that they don't serve food.
