Why is Victoria Inn good for fans?
The Victoria Inn, affectionately known as 'Fanny's', is a popular spot for both home and away football fans. Located in Bolton, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with home-cooked food and a wide selection of drinks. The pub regularly screens live football matches on big screens in its Garden Room, making it a great place to catch the action before or after a game. Its proximity to the Toughsheet Community Stadium adds to its appeal for matchday gatherings. The venue's commitment to showing live sports and its welcoming environment make it a favored choice for football enthusiasts.
Was part of a large group (16). We were seated quickly in a large bright area of the pub. We had pre ordered our food from a really good menu selection. All our food arrived at the same time. It was well presented, hot and tasty. It got very quiet as we all enjoyed our courses.
The desserts were popular, as were the coffees (I love a good coffee and my cappuccino was spot on).
The staff regularly checked to make sure we were alright, empty plates cleared quickly, and they made sure we had everything we needed.
It wasn't busy, which may have been because it was midweek. The whole pub was clean and friendly and would definitely come again.

Visited 20/09/2022, called ahead and made a reservation. Arrived and greeted fairly quickly and taken to assigned table for the group. Drinks order taken and then once arrived then ordered food. Came fairly quickly and then once done ordered from desserts menu (provided separately). Service great and majority of the food was given great reviews from the group. The steak ciabatta feedback was not as good as previously had (could be a one off). Good service provided by all the team who looked after the group. Worth going for a meal, and during nice weather to sit in the outside area too is recommended.

Went for a birthday celebration dinner, multiple members of our party had to send back their dishes due to missed instructions. The dish for the centre of attention didn’t show up because the server forgot to put it in. Food was okay, but not the quality you’d expect for the price. Don’t foresee returning.

Went for the Sunday roast today. Called a day ahead to get the table. When we got there we were offered an outside table, ane with the lovely weather it was a no brainer! I had beef and chicken, and my friend had the chicken. It was one of the best roasts I have had! Paid £52 for the 2 roasts, and a Guinness and a glass of wine, very good value for money! The best food in Bolton !(that I have had)

Visited again for another Sunday roast. Delicious. We ordered a bottle of red wine, received white and rolled with it. The atmosphere was vibrant, as a match was playing in the pub. It brought life to the busy restaurant. Roasts were great, just as before. Staff was busy and very pleasant definately enjoy the depth and flavors of this filling meal.
Visited again with an out of town guest and thoroughly enjoyed it again.

Great restaurant and bar. Modern design inside, extra seating added outside for warm evenings. Never had a bad meal, would definitely recommend.
