Great pub with great heart! The rustic feel takes you back to times of yesteryear. The staff are fantastic and attentive. The beer selection (especially on cask) is fantastic. But over all I’m always most impressed by the atmosphere with all the customers and staff getting involved in all that’s going on! Well worth an out of the way visit

I attended here following a funeral and it was spotlessly clean, staff were incredibly kind and friendly and the food we got for the wake was delicious I used the bathroom and was blown away by the fact that ladies bathrooms had a range a of free sanitary products in each stall it's the small things that make a big difference!

Brilliant pub. Parking is a bit of a pain but well worth a visit. Great jukebox, cask ales and friendly staff.

Great example of an English pub. The welcome is friendly and the pub still divides into several rooms unlike the modern open plan design.

It was quite expensive for a pint ale compared to other public houses around town. Food was quite a long wait in arriving , but it wasn't really worth the wait. The frozen cooked chips were the only hot thing on my plate. There are much better places to eat and drink around town.
