So nice! All 4 of our meals were amazing. We couldn’t believe that the meals were 2 for £12.49 and they were all absolutely gorgeous. The beef burger and gammon meal, really great portions and hot and tasty. Staff were great and they catered so well for our son who had a milk allergy. Lovely outside area with a little play area for little ones, very good and secure. Can’t wait to return!

Just called into our local to try out the new menu, and brilliant food. 2 main meals for, yes 2 main meals for £12.49. Absolute bargain. Thought the plates would be a bit smaller for that price, but no. Fantastic value for money. The bar staff as always are welcoming and polite, and Trish and Steve have done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend to anyone. I mean what’s not to like at these prices.

Excellent pub. Great service great choice great prices. Popped in last Saturday late afternoon for a couple of drinks after a long walk. The price of two pints was £5.30 cheaper than the Hurley Flyer along the road. I asked for a menu just out of curiosity and I explained to the lovely girl behind the bar I had coeliac disease (gutted I forgot to ask her name) and she was so so helpful and even took the time to sit with me and show me the allergies scan code and assured me they had a separate fryer and that any two meals from their menu was £12.49. for that price we didn't have high expectations but we both had the gammon and it was delicious. That girl gets the super star staff award from me I hope the owners recognise her. Great find we highly recommend

Very nice community pub .. well worth a visit .. friendly bar staff and regulars .. loads of tvs for sport some even built into the booths ...

Small function room, booked for a celebration of a friend's life. Whilst both sides of the bar were attended to, it didn't feel like a special occasion. The bar staff didn't smile, it felt a little like we were in the way.

Excellent, promt service with detail and care regarding preferences. A decent enough selection of 0% drinks as well as a wide selection of spirits. The staff were patient and asked my preferences when I was uncertain on my order, and provided a recommendation

We arrived late evening on a Saturday around 6:30. We were informed when ordering our drinks a little after this that the kitchens last orders were at 6:45pm we didn’t feel rushed and the chef had told the bar staff that it was fine. All the staff were friendly and it was as if the food was the first order. It was lovely food and the fish was amazing! Credit to the chef for staying on all the staff for been so friendly.
