Why is The Boot Inn - JD Wetherspoon good for fans?

In the town centre and a short walk from Turf Moor and transport links, The Boot Inn is a handy pre-match stop. CAMRA's WhatPub notes it's a large Wetherspoon with great-value food and ales and says it's a short walk from the bus station and Turf Moor, which suits matchday timings. Discover Burnley's matchday guide lists The Boot Inn as accepting away fans and says it's always busy on game days, so you can expect a lively build-up. A Forest supporters' guide also describes it as having a mix of supporters, indicating a generally welcoming atmosphere for both home and away fans.

Came for a few drinks with my husband, brother in-law and his wife. Service was excellent, especially the lady with blond hair who came round selling raffle tickets but will the staff were great. We ordered two vegan sausage, chips and beans, a vegan Beyond fiesta burger and chicken curry. The food was excellent especially for the price, we could not fault our visit...will definitely revisit.

Order a pint at the bar, find a table, in or out (they have both), sit for a bit then order some food using their app. I ordered 8 Whitby Scampi and another pint. The app is a doddle to use but you must order food when at the bottom third of your pint, so that pint 2 and food, arrive seamlessly.. I recommend getting the Mango Chutney with your Scampi, it's just piquant enough to make your mouth water. You can find this on a stand, near to the door. The toilets are located in the centre of the bar and, when I visited, were clean and fresh smelling.. A real credit to the staff and worth a mention.

A very nice interior and exterior at this particular Wetherspoon's. I had the five bean chilli jacket potato either a side of coleslaw and a very good real ale for 9.40£. It was good to see two real fires and some relevant historical photos of the locality on the walls. Large well-lit rear beer garden. Well worth a visit.

The staff sadly really let down what could be a lovely venue. When you employ staff who are not polite your not going to have a good service for your customers. It will always be spoken about locally as having rude ignorant staff. Anything is to much trouble. They did not even apologise to me for such bad service. Not once. Awful human beings.

Nice staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely hot food served quickly. Best onion rings I've had from a Wetherspoons hot and tasty. (& I've been to a lot of spoons). Ladies toilets clean. Would come back again.

Large Wetherspoon’s pub in Burnley town centre. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating in the sunny beer garden to the rear some of it covered. Good value traditional English breakfast as ever in this pub chain.
