NOT FOR AWAY FANS. There is a faded sign on the outside that we missed. We entered the pub in our football shirts and were served by a very friendly lady. The price was very good and the service quick and friendly. We had lot of friendly banter with the home fans about the game. 2 hours and 3 trips to the bar later we were asked to leave because some of the home fans didn’t like us being there.

I love this place. Old world style pub with no frills where you can enjoy a pint without any fuss. Staff are friendly and efficient and the beers on offer always taste clean and fresh. Can't get in on match days as it is a stones throw from Riverside Stadium but I visit on a regular basis as it is a great place to have a get together for a few pints and a laugh 😃

Cheapest pint in town for a boozer. Great atmosphere. Plenty of selection on drinks. Friendly and most helpful staff
