The Black Horse

Why is The Black Horse good for fans?

It’s very popular on Luton Town matchdays and is described as the closest ale pub to Kenilworth Road, making it a natural pre-match gathering spot for home supporters. The pub has Sports TV (terrestrial for major events), so fans can catch key broadcasts around the game. It also keeps rotating cask lines from local breweries such as Leighton Buzzard, Oakham and Tring, offering quality pints before or after the match. WhatPub also notes late closing is commonplace at weekends, which suits Saturday fixtures and post-game socialising.

This is my go to pub when I'm in Luton. Great back street local pub that is welcoming to all. They hold music night's, have a good new pool table n decent size garden. Serves ale n part of CAMRA.

Back Street pub, four cask ales, the two I tried were well kept. Had a friendly atmosphere, rock jukebox and pool table, all in all a nice pub and glad I found it.

Friendly pub. Good well managed beer. Pool table can get on the way a bit when busy at weekends. Nice fire, nice dog. Entertainment on at weekends. Juke box just needs someone to pick some good tunes.
