Always had a great time when I've visited The Avenue. The food is delicious and always served with a smile by the great staff. Special mention to Tara, she always makes sure we have everything we need and really looks after her customers. The live entertainment on a weekend is brilliant!

Great Wednesday night very busy in the pub. The sun was out. Great friendly bar staff good to see Jane on a Wednesday night she’s been missed. Food was banging great burger. See u soon.

We always have a nice time at The Avenue Pub. We enjoy playing darts as a family, and it's always a great way to unwind. Great pint, friendly locals, and a clean, welcoming environment make every visit a pleasure. Recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed pub experience

Great atmosphere especially Saturday night's. The new menu is really refreshing for a local pub. The pulled pork pizza is definitely worth a try. The new starters are amazing.

Nice pub, friendly staff. Go often for a couple of pints, happy hour's between 5-8 ;) Always have a great time on Thursday's quiz night. Well worth a go if you haven't already!

Great pub. Landlord is a nightmare. Always pissed. Does the quiz on a Thursday. Drunk. Can’t even read the questions in order. Ben was a huge loss. Bingo after the Thursday quiz. Everyone can get involved. Since Ben left, the landlord won’t even ask if we want to take part. Comes and looks at me, then walks away. Shame. Love my local. But the landlord is ruining it.

The Avenue is an excellent community pub. This former bass pub, has been modernised over the years. There is a comfortable front Lounge and a very smart back bar with darts and a pool table. There is an excellent choice of beers and lagers, with three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales, including a rotating guest beer which is a real plus as some pubs near here don't have any cask beer at all. The food menu and meal deals are excellent, the gammon egg & pineapple is a particular favourite. Very friendly staff, pub car park, not dog friendly, outside seating. It's very rare I give a pub a five-star rating but the quality of the beer makes it five. Highly recommended.
