City-centre pub (12 St. Mary Street, SA1 3LH) close to Swansea railway station (~650m) and bus routes, handy for getting to/from the Swansea.com Stadium. It shows live football with Sky Sports and TNT Sports on multiple TVs and is known to cater for large crowds during major sporting matches, creating a lively pre-/post-match atmosphere. The operator’s football pages actively promote live fixtures and welcome both home and away fans. Together, that makes it a practical neutral meet-up spot to watch the game or grab a pint before heading to the match.

A very nice building with impressive beer garden. However, the business isn't maximising its potential due to woefully inadequate toilets (not enough and unclean) and below average quality of the Beavertown (a craftbeer usually very good).
Both of the points could be rectified.
In fairness, the staff work hard- suggesting understaffed?

Great location on the edge of the main shopping area. No food available- no idea why but they did recommend a great pub just up the road which was fabulous. Friendly service and a pub which has a relaxed ambience. Drinks are good value which is a bonus. I liked it there though we weren't there for long. We will go back when we're in Swansea again.

This was a fantastic pub for drinking, harboring a vintage aesthetic indoors! The lighting is stylish on the ceiling, counter is well-presented and staff were patient. I enjoyed a pint of Heineken, sitting comfortably at a circular table!

Great place to meet and have lovely food and drinks.
Staff are extremely friendly and get into the spirit of the time.
Large open garden which is spacious and has loads of seating and screens to watch events outdoors.

Just walking around enjoying Swansea and the sun, then, lo and behold, a sign. The Cross Keys, a Craft Union pub, with the location, I am convinced, the locals keep a secret. Well now it's out there 😄
It is well worth a visit.

Traditional pub atmosphere, and I did not hear one bit of swearing. It's very reasonably priced as well. I can highly recommend it.

This was a really interesting pub, still operating since the 1300s! The building looks like it, too. Old stone and mortar. Almost ruins looking. I had no plans of getting food at the time, but it was close enough to lunch time and the building interested me. Going in, I was greeted by the bartender, whose name I forget, but he was an extremely nice man that gave me a history lesson on the building, as well as other places in Swansea, the Castle, and The Mumbles. I got the fish and chips and assume it was pretty traditional, skin and bones and all. Us Americans aren't used to that, but I got through it ok :) It tasted fine. Lots to choose from on tap. Fast, great service and a really neat building to eat it in!
