For Chelsea away days, The Duke on the Green is specifically highlighted as welcoming away fans and is around a 10–15 minute walk to Stamford Bridge, making it an easy pre-match meet spot. It also lists live sport TV fixtures (via FANZO/UseYourLocal), so you can catch early kick-offs and post-match action. It’s a short walk from Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway tube stations, keeping travel simple on matchday. The bar carries a solid draught line-up (Young’s cask plus well-known keg beers), which suits mixed groups before or after the game.

Duke on the Green is a real gem in London! The service is absolutely top-notch - friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The food is outstanding, with fresh flavors and beautifully presented dishes that go well beyond typical pub fare. Add to that the warm, lively atmosphere and stylish setting, and you’ve got the perfect spot for a relaxed meal, drinks with friends, or a special evening out. Highly recommend!

Great food at fair price, the location is accessible for public transport, the atmosphere feels like Real London, the service was great. They have kids menu, and even though it’s a place for adults, it felt very kid friendly. I recommend the London City Detour for this amazing and unique gastronomic experience. Ps: my daughter said the Ice Cream was the best she had in her 6 years life.

🚇 Parsons Green
🍺 £6.60 Pravha
The Duke on the Green is located on the southern edge of Parsons Green in southwest London. The nearest Tube is Parsons Green on the District Line.
This stunning Grade II listed pub was built in 1892 and was originally named the Duke of Cumberland in honor of Ernest Augustus, son of George III. The exterior is quite magnificent with granite columns, leaded arched windows and glazed brown tiles.
This stylish, one-bar, two-room pub blends classic Victorian charm with contemporary touches. The main bar area is located at the front, with the servery on the right-hand side, featuring ornate woodwork detailing. The bar is generously sized and offers plenty of mixed seating, an impressive period fireplace, hardwood floors, Corinthian columns, and a wall of stunning decorative Victorian tiles. The room behind the main bar is set aside for dining and features comfortable mix-and-match seating and colourful contemporary decor.
This Young’s pub offers a selection of popular, well-known beers, plus some independent brews and two cask ales. I went with a Pravha—my pint hit the spot, price point was above average. The food menu features seasonal British classics, including Sunday roasts. For comparison, fish and chips costs £18.50.
I arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a warm and sunny Saturday morning in May. The pub had only just opened and already had a few punters both inside and out. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, making it easy to settle in. The service was excellent—the team on duty were welcoming, friendly, and personable. I took a seat at one of the tables near the tiled wall and took in my surroundings while listening to an excellent soundtrack that included Joe Jackson’s Steppin’ Out.
This was my second visit in recent months—the first during the Six Nations, when the pub was packed. This time was more relaxed, but I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. It’s a classy pub with heritage tiling, a vibrant bar, quality beers, and classic seasonal cuisine. A must-visit London pub.

This is a solid, no-nonsense pub that gets the basics right. It’s warm, comfortable, and has a nice relaxed feel to it. The kind of place where you can easily spend a few hours without noticing the time.
The interior has a bit of charm without trying too hard — wooden floors, a few old photos on the walls, and a mix of tables and quieter corners. It feels lived-in, in a good way.
The drinks are well looked after, with a decent choice of local ales and a few good lagers on tap. Nothing flashy, just well-kept and fairly priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick even when it got busy.
Food is straightforward pub grub, done well. I had the pie and mash — proper comfort food, piping hot and full of flavour. It’s not trying to be fancy, which I appreciate.
Overall, it’s the kind of place you’d be happy to have as your local — unpretentious, reliable, and welcoming.

Had the best Friday night! Incredible staff and amazing food. The service is what makes this place so special. Have to give a shout out to the manager Daria (AKA The Duchess!) Don’t skip the scotch egg and chicken strips. Thank you. xx
