Why is The Firkin Shed good for fans?
A handy pre-match stop: it's 850m from Bournemouth railway station and on major bus routes, so it's easy to get to and from Vitality Stadium. The pub often opens early on AFC Bournemouth home matchdays (with cheese rolls on the bar) and has shown live sport (e.g., rugby) on TV, creating a match-build-up atmosphere. Craft-forward and constantly changing beer and cider lines appeal to fans looking for quality pints before or after the game. Crowd reports suggest a mix of home fans and visiting supporters use it on matchdays, making it a friendly neutral spot for groups.

The Firkin Shed is a small micro pub that has a great choice of draught/ bottle beers,
ciders, mead, spirits. It doesn't do food as it is too small. It just has snacks. It has three areas inside and two outside. The toilets have toilet paper/air freshener/ electric hand dryers in. It is a cosy place with a good atmosphere. I would definitely go again for a couple of pints with friends.

Quirky and spooky...💀👻 the two words that i think would best describe this pub. I can tell with certainty that it's very different to the pubs that you been to before. They don't serve the mainstream🍺 but the ales that they do are just awesome🤘🏻 the place is littered with random objects and artifacts that add to its character. They dont serve food, but should you get peckish, there are plenty of takeaways nearby. As it's quite a small place, better air conditioning would be great.

Great little jewel in Springbourne. The Frikin Shed is a tiny spot, perfect to have a drink with friends and maybe playing some games.
The staff is super friendly, and they take care of your order swiftly. The beer & cider selection is great, from many local & small breweries.
The place is small, but very cozy. Loving spending some evenings with my friend there. :)

Superbly friendly bar staff, a cracking little local with great ales, bitters, stouts, IPAs on. Always welcoming, great prices and wonderful range of beers.

One of Bournemouth's gems. Excellent choice of beer. Eclectic left-leaning decor. Good crowd. Highly recommended for any beer fans!

Atmospheric little boozer that you can't help but not enjoy.
Came here to watch The Wilswood Buoys.
Cozy set up and really felt part of the music. The atmosphere was great!
Freindly bar staff and locals & a great choice of local real ales.
Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but if it's anything like the drink and service, you won't go wrong.

The kind of pub I love: lovely, unusual beers, very friendly and knowledgeable barmaid, good clientele, plenty of dogs.
