The Cricketers Bournemouth

out of 328 reviews

Why is The Cricketers Bournemouth good for fans?

A handy pre-match stop: it's a short stroll from Bournemouth rail/coach/bus interchange and close to the Vitality Stadium, so it works well for travelling supporters. CAMRA notes it's popular with both home and away fans, and local supporters also recommend it as a pre/post-match option. The pub shows TNT Sports, so you can catch early/late kick-offs around your game. Real-ale options (often including London Pride plus rotating guests) add to the matchday appeal.

The only real pub in Springbourne, one of the oldest in Bournemouth. The Cricketers has a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff and customers are very welcoming it has fruit machines and a good Jukebox on a Sunday they have card bingo and a meat 🍖 raffle. With plenty of outdoor seating. They don't do food on a regular basis but occasionally when advertised. I will definitely be back

A well overdue return to this brilliant boozer. Only proper pub in Bournemouth. A warm welcome, great ale and friendly local characters. Meat draw, raffle, juke box, decent grub… classic. Worth the walk.

Probable the last real pub in Bournemouth, the Cricketers has a fascinating history and has recently been beautifully renovated to create a comfortable, traditional, welcoming local. Often holds food or beer festivals. Worth a visit to see and feel local atmosphere and history.

Nice pub for a pre-match pint (or two) Both home & visiting fans mingling without any bother. 10-15 minute walk to the ground.
